CEO Minor Hotels

Dillip joined Minor Hotels in March 2007 as Chief Finance & Investment Officer and then took over the role of Chief Operating Officer in 2008. In September 2011 he was promoted to Chief Executive Officer. During his time with the Minor Hotels he has seen its core Anantara brand grow from just a handful of properties to become a leading operator and developer of luxury hotels, resorts and spas.

‘It’s people who sell the brand, so the leader must set the example on how this must be done.' 

‘I always try and interview all potential General Managers myself — together with my leadership team. Then I’ll see whether the person will fit in — not just as a GM today; I want to see if they have the potential to be a Regional GM in five years.

Khun Naowarat Arunkong (Bee) started her hospitality career 28 years ago. In her current role as Cluster General Manager, she oversees 2 properties in Thailand Avani Sukhumvit Bangkok and Avani Khon Kaen.

Marco Hau began his journey with Minor Hotels in 2011 as a front office intern at Anantara Lawana in Koh Samui, Thailand. After his internship, he then joined the Anantara Riverside team in Bangkok as Assistant Reservations Manager. Eventually, he was promoted to Revenue Manager for Anantara and Avani Riverside.

In late 2018, he as appointed as Director of Revenue for Anantara Kihavah Maldives Villas.
