Wavelength is a truly powerful programme which has made me think and act differently about my leadership style and my business goals. I implemented the learnings right away and applied them to my department. I designed new customized menus and romantic packages for different types of clientele by analyzing Qatar’s current business demand to maximise revenue in F&B. My team really appreciated these improvements.  My Wavelength journey  has given me the chance to enhance my leadership skills and get ready for the next step in my career.

The Endeavour Learning Journey is a development programme that encourages its participants to step out of their comfort zones, collaborate with other departments under close mentorship from experts so that they understand better our business, learn new skill sets and gain meaningful experiences.

The partnerships with external and internal stakeholders improved the efficiency of my projects and provided me knowledge in fields I would have never had the opportunity to explore if I was not part of this programme.

Since I joined the hotel, I have been able to get hands on operational experience by looking after the property and guests when the GM is away. I have been working on a new programme which will be launched soon for luxury agents covering various Anantara properties called Anantara Journeys.

I am really excited about the company’s growth and entrepreneurial spirit. We are developing very fast and I look forward to growing with Minor Hotels in to a regional or corporate role.

Working on the three projects and groups sessions with my Horizon team mates has had the most impact on my growth and learning experience. I found e-Cornell courses very useful, I did an MBA a few years back and it was great to get a refresher on some of the modules and use them in my daily work.
